PBS eight/UMD Nature Project-
The PBS eight/UMD NATURE Project is a
partnership between PBS eight, the
Hartley Nature Center in Duluth, Minnesota, and the
International
Wolf Center in Ely, Minnesota, in collaboration with the
Educational Broadcasting Corporation, Thirteen/WNET in
New York, New York. The project included lesson plans
integrating literature about wolves with science about
wolves developed by the elementary education candidates of
the University of Minnesota Duluth. These lesson plans for
students in grades K-8 have been included as a continuing
resource for this project.
FRONTLINE: World Educators -
The award-winning television series is
complemented by an extensive Web site, which was awarded
a 2002 Online Journalism Award for General Excellence by
the Online News Association and Columbia University
Graduate School of Journalism.
FRONTLINE/World's Web site publishes original
reporting, interviews, reporter diaries, and interactive
features. Visitors can also
watch all our broadcast

This Web site offers
topical insights and extends student knowledge by
relating famous literature to current events. Topics
