Video Summary

Raw elements, inspiration and intuition stoke the fire at Dale Burton’s Forge & Gallery. His hand-forged ironwork resonates with the natural beauty of the North Shore. The PlayList steps inside his winter workshop for a master lesson from the Two Harbors native, and brings the old-time magic of the forge into the realm of contemporary art.

Street art takes on a new definition in the city of Ely. The annual Winter Festival includes an ArtWalk through downtown, where storefronts become galleries for the month of February. Take a stroll and see the art on display with master organizer Steve Voiles.

Equal Xchange brings a hip hop evolution to Duluth. Veterans of the Duluth music scene, the group effortlessly combines innovative raps with upbeat melodies provided on the guitar, bass, and drums. The indie band steps up its game in the new album, “Fair Game.” Recorded in Minneapolis, the album is a batch of all original, live hip hop from the frozen North. Equal Xchange promotes the new album and brings a fresh vibe to The Playlist with a live set of new music.
