Art making is a passion Eric Dubnicka cannot avoid. Grounded in the roots of ugliness, his work accentuates the fractured mental state created by society’s expectations often with a humourous twist. The Playlist takes a private tour of Eric Dubnicka’s art studio to see his latest works.
Imagery of the Great Lakes inspires a new show at the Lyric Center for the Arts. The latest work from craftsman, Peter Pestalozzi, and canoe builder turned watercolorist, Jean Bourquin, draws inspiration from Peter’s many years kayaking on Lake Superior. The Playlist pays a visit to the couple’s new exhibit on display in Virginia.
Lost Children wander into The Playlist studio for a live performance. The three piece band plays soulful, bluesy rock and includes Josh Palmi, Chad Mikkelson, and Dave Litchke. The group enjoys experimenting with different types of rock music and are currently working on their second CD. Lost Children brings their new music by the Playlist studio.
